Where to Pick Your Own Blueberries

Being able to pick your own fruit, vegetables and flowers makes this time of year the perfect time to enjoy the many local and family owned farms that line the coast here in Connecticut. Explore four of our favorite spots for blueberry picking.
North Branford
Rose Orchards Farm
We love the Rose Farm because it’s not only run by the 11th generation of the Rose Family, but their commitment to family fun. Stop by for pick your own, a hay maze, their creamery or grab at bite at Buck’s Grill.
Guilford
Bishop’s Orchards
Strawberries are just the beginning at Bishop's Orchards. Then blueberries, raspberries, peaches, pears, apples, and pumpkins.
Don't miss the sunflower maze and Little Red Barn during the fall, and their family of alpaca, lamas, chickens, and goats at this 140-year old family farm that has been cared for by six generations.
Middlefield
Lyman Orchards
Lyman Orchards offers pick-your-own strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, peaches, pears, and pumpkins.

Scott’s Yankee Farmer
Pick your own strawberries, cut flowers, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, apples, and pumpkins. PYO season runs from early June through October.
