Join the Town of Essex in honoring our nation's heroes at the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM. Participants will assemble at the foot of Main Street at 8:45 AM. This year's parade features a shortened route, beginning at the Essex waterfront, proceeding to the Essex Town Hall for a prayer and salute, and concluding at the Essex Veterans’ Memorial Hall in Centerbrook with a ceremony around 10:30 AM.

Event Highlights:

• Parade Route: Essex waterfront → Essex Town Hall (prayer and salute) → Essex Veterans’ Memorial Hall in Centerbrook.

• Ceremony: Final ceremony at the Veterans’ Memorial Hall around 10:30 AM.

• Refreshments: Clam chowder, hot dogs, and ice cream served by members of the Essex Veterans’ Memorial Hall.

Additional Commemorations:

On Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM, Essex Veterans will honor fallen heroes at the Riverview Cemetery, First Baptist Church Cemetery, and Centerbrook Cemetery.
