Education Planning in the Pandemic

As Chad Dorman and Leonard Andrew Consulting connected with families and students over the last few months, they learned that more and more parents were not only worried about their child’s learning situation, but also were apprehensive about what comes next – is there to be a ‘COVID slide’ much like a ‘summer slide’? While schools and teachers have done and will do their absolute best, is it enough? Hybrid learning or fully remote? Should I homeschool my child?

If your child is in middle or high school, entering college or planning next steps for after, Leonard Andrew Consulting wants to help during this bizarre, crazy, stressful time in any way that they can.

They are offering a set of educational assistance programs for students and families in addition to college counseling, prep school admissions, and athletic recruiting guidance, which they are best known for:

Workshops

For students, student-athletes, and their families. These are set up to give families an expert to rely on, a practitioner who is focused on the daily and constant updates, changes, and alterations to education life (college tests, college campuses, districts opening or closing, etc.)

Tutoring

LAC works with students to guide them through the core subjects of math, science, English, and social studies.

Homeschool Help

A parent teaching at home for the first time? You do not have to go it alone! LAC offers personalized homeschool support and guidance. We provide curriculum guides, assessments, and ways to enrich the entire experience.

Academic Support

While this goes hand-in-hand with both tutoring and homeschool help, LAC’s academic support offers check-ins with your child in the effort to help them accelerate their learning, review troublesome subjects, meet learning standards, and even prepare for tests.  We want to help your child succeed in this new school environment!

“We are proud to offer these services to families during this tumultuous time,” says Dorman, “With private guidance, instruction, and tutoring – be it remote or in person – we are dedicated to getting students on track and ensuring that they stay on track. They’ll be confident in their work and they’ll know that we’re right there with them – advocating, supporting, and teaching – every step of the way.”

The team at Leonard Andrew Consulting does not want to add strain in an already stressful time – they want to do the opposite – encouraging students and families to be confident in their next steps. These programs focus on the particular needs, capacities, and interests of your student in order to answer questions, set a plan, and lower stress (all while preparing them for what comes next, even if it may be seemingly unknown at this time). They are offering COVID-friendly pricing specific to each service, and want to make sure that their assistance fits into your budget!
